Founder, Blue Shark Tech
Neil founded Blue Shark Tech after a career in technology and information security, most recently spent inside three institutions that operate under some of the heaviest scrutiny in American business: Mastercard, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank. He started Blue Shark Tech to bring that same discipline, built where a security mistake carries real regulatory and financial consequences, to businesses that need it but have rarely had access to it.
His career began in the years before most companies had a website, in CAD drafting and infrastructure support, before moving into information security. From there he moved through Information Security Engineer, Director of Security Controls Validation, and Director of Security Compliance at Mastercard, then into security leadership at Wells Fargo, and currently works in InfoSec governance, control testing, and metrics at U.S. Bank.
He holds the CISSP, CISM, and CCSP, three of the most recognized credentials in information and cloud security, alongside Microsoft's certifications across AI, data, and security fundamentals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Maryville University of Saint Louis and completed the Pacific Coast Banking School executive program.
Alongside his security career, Neil has built and operated multiple businesses across real estate and technology. Outside of work, he's a longtime American Red Cross blood and platelet donor and served as a blood drive coordinator.
